In the Side Pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 32 km/h into a rigid pole.

Update 2024: The BMW X2 is a partner model to BMW X1 and their structure is practically identical. Euro NCAP concluded that the BMW X1 Side Pole test results could be applied to the X2.
