Dacia aims low while Škoda, VW electrify

Today, Euro NCAP releases the safety ratings of three new cars and one new variant. The Škoda ENYAQ iV and Volkswagen ID.4 are each awarded a top five-star rating. The Dacia Sandero Stepway is given a two-star rating and this applies also to the saloon version of the vehicle, the Logan. The plug-in hybrid derivative of the Cupra Formentor rated last month, is also added to the list of variants covered by that car’s five-star rating.

New Polestar and Cupra Keeping Up with Family Tradition

Today, Euro NCAP publishes its first safety ratings of 2021. Two new cars – the Polestar 2 and the Cupra Formentor – achieve the maximum five-star rating against the latest protocol regime. The Renault Arkana and Lexus UX 300e, both derived from previously-tested models, are added to the list of 2019-rated cars.
